Gillian McCulloch

Gillian McCulloch was born in Halifax and studied fine arts at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design and illustration at Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario. Much of her work has been in still-life and landscapes and in recent years, she has become well known for her expressive portrait work that captures the image and spirit of her subjects. She has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group shows since 1981 and her portrait commissions have taken her to British Columbia, England and across Nova Scotia.
