Holly Carr continues her Light in the Forest series, in which she hopes to shine a light on mental wellness through a theatrical experience filled with the message of hope and resilience. We are delighted to be presenting a number of new works that Holly has created for her latest iteration of this heartfelt project.

This time around, Holly has commissioned composer Christopher Palmer to create an original score for her performance. The score will be performed by the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra on Saturday, April 23 at 7:00 PM at St. Andrew's United Church in Halifax, and on Sunday, April 24 at 7:00 PM at the Bridgewater Baptist Church. The production will also include a performance of Holly's own Light in the Forest song by the Nova Scotia Honour Choir with Heather Fraser, as well as animations of her silk paintings created by her son, Jack Bateman. As always, Holly will also be doing live painting during the performance.

There will be no opening reception for this exhibition, so please pay us a visit at your convenience.
