Oil on canvas
24 x 36
$6500
Donated to the Charles Macdonald Concrete House fundraiser by John Neville.

We are so happy to share that Nova Scotia folk artist and master printmaker John Neville will generously be donating all the proceeds from the sale of his newest painting "Phil and James" to the Charles Macdonald Concrete House Rehabilitation Project! This 24"x36" oil painting, listed for $6500, depicts two fishermen out to sea, battling against wild waves. A ship can be seen in the background, struggling too against the elements.

"Phil and James" will be on display at the Secord Gallery in Halifax (located upstairs at 6301 Quinpool Road) until December 15 or when the painting is sold. The Secord Gallery has also kindly agreed to waive their commission so that all proceeds from the sale will go directly to help save the concrete house.

If you’re interested in seeing the painting or would like to be the lucky one to acquire it and support a local cause, drop into the Secord Gallery during their open hours or give them a call at (902) 423-6644, https://www.secordgallery.com/art/.
