This engine was nicknamed "the pounder". It was very awkward and heavy. As a boy I remember trying to move it and it was impossibly heavy. One of the village men had reputedly lifted it over his head. This was the benchmark for the strength in the village. People have told me of large stones, anvils which were their village's benchmarks. Sort of a Herculean undertone.
