Annapolis River Farm, 1994
Nestled between the North and South Mountain, the Annapolis River flows southwest through the heart of the Annapolis Valley from its starting point in Caribou bog, located near Berwick, Nova Scotia. This river runs for 120 Km before it empties into the Annapolis Basin near the town of Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. The land on either side of the river is considered some of the most productive agricultural land in the province, thus playing a crucial role of everyday life in the agricultural center, water. This farm house and surrounding barns is a common sight along the Annapolis River, a lifeline for the farmers choosing to dwell along it.
