Bad Day is a return to some of my earlier ideas around childhood expectations, both from the perspective of the child and that of the adults in their lives.

The universal truth that even the most fantastic, plastic doo-dad was powered not by the two D cell batteries (not included), but rather our imaginations. Imaginations so potent that the greatest toy ever created could only ever hope to aspire to the heady heights of play achieved by an empty, cardboard, appliance box.
