Freakout was made as a not-so-subtle dig at the new suburbanites. Those that bring a city sensibility to a semi-rural area and expect that everything will remain the same. The insectisiders, and the herbiciders, cutting swathes through the local flora and fauna, desperate to carve out a little slice of urban order in their new wilderness. I’m secretly cheering the deer and the rabbits eating the perfect lettuces, militarily arranged in their pristine raised beds, and I’m on team dandelion in all things lawn related, clover too.
