Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, 1996
In 1995 the United Nations bestowed a major honour by declaring Lunenburg’s Old Town area a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the Old Town you’ll find a working marine blacksmith and a dory shop, attractive Inns, shops, restaurants, and galleries, bounded on the water by the Adams and Knickles’ buildings in their bright red paint.
