Dublin Shore, Nova Scotia, 1996
“The Dublin Shore area was settled by the first French settlers to Nova Scotia. This wharf is a master piece of sticks. Working on a copper plate in the reverse to do the reconstruction of this unique structure was akin to playing pick-up sticks out of the blue. Safe passage to the wharf is through the shallow and rocky waters surrounding the La Have Islands is knowledge passed down and known to locals only. Thus creating a scenic and pristine area kept protected from modern pleasure craft.” – Joyce Martin
